Jessica Laemmle, DVM

Dr. Jessica Laemmle grew up a horse crazy kid and worked as a groom throughout high school.  She got her Bachelor of Animal Science degree from University of California of Davis.  After college she managed a Hunter/ Jumper show barn.  She soon realized she liked taking care of the horses more than riding them.  She attended Ross School of Veterinary Medicine in St. Kitts.  After  school  she worked for a year for All Creatures Veterinary Hospital in La Quinta working with both horses and companion animals.  She then moved to San Diego where she practiced equine medicine exclusively for many years.  In 2020 she came back to companion animal medicine working at a 24 hour facility and covering both general care appointments during the day and emergency care appointments at night.  When not working she spends time with her son, their 3 cats and her now retired horse.
