What inspired you to work in veterinary medicine?
I was drawn to veterinary medicine because of the connection between animals and healing. I’ve seen how loving and caring for animals can help them feel better while also bringing comfort to the people who love them. Being part of that healing process—whether it’s helping an animal recover, easing pain, or just showing compassion—feels really meaningful to me.
How do you continue to grow in the field?
I love being a steady, calming presence for animals who don’t understand what’s happening. Offering gentle care, patience, and reassurance feels just as important as the medical side of the job.
What is the most rewarding part of working at Freddie’s Place?
My coworkers have been the biggest influence on my growth. Being new to the field comes with a lot of challenges, and having experienced coworkers who are willing to support me by teaching me and also pushing me when needed has truly made a huge difference in the development of my knowledge and skills.
