Last week Chloe was attacked by a coyote while being in her own backyard. When Chloe was brought into Freddie’s Place she was in rough shape, with a deeply lacerated neck and quickly going into shock. The Freddie’s team jumped into action and performed critical surgery on Chloe who at the time had a 30% survival rate. After stabilizing Miss Chloe, we used our ambulance to safely transport her to an overnight facility for pain management. Chloe has since returned to Freddie’s for rechecks on her surgical site and is absolutely THRIVING!
Chloe is a 6-year-old Lhasa Apso whose favorite treat in the world is home cooked Salmon. She has 2 human siblings who are 2 years old and 6 years old and they are her best friends. Chloe’s dad says they have a long driveway at home that has a specific spot designated for Chloe to hangout and watch all the cars drive by, they call this “CHLOE’S PRIDE ROCK”. Chloe’s family is happy to have her home and safe, so they can continue to give her cuddles, treats, and watch her humans grow up beside her.
