Meet our best care anywhere team…
Hello there! I’m Kilistina, a true Oceanside, CA native through and through. Ever since I can recall, I’ve had an innate passion for rescuing and nurturing animals back to health. Whether it was tending to birds fallen from nests or befriending stray cats in the neighborhood, I was that kid who always wanted to bring them all home. My journey into animal care officially began fresh out of high school when I landed a job at Mission Animal Bird Hospital as a kennel attendant. That experience sparked a profound realization within me – I wanted to do more for these creatures I cherished.
Hello,

I’m Morgan, a Kentucky native who moved to San Diego in 2020. My love for veterinary medicine started very early in my life as I have always enjoyed animals in all aspects. I started my veterinary career as a teenager working as a veterinary receptionist and assistant in a small animal practice. I entered into management in 2015 and enjoyed it so much that I pursued my certification in veterinary practice management (CVPM) and a Bachelor’s degree in Business Management in 2020. My favorite part of veterinary medicine is working closely with my team to provide high quality medical care to each patient and to provide the best experience for their owners. Being a pet owner myself, there is nothing more important than upholding a high standard of care for all animals and their people! Even simple vet visits can be daunting sometimes, and I am here to help you with any concerns you may have related to your visit with us.
At home, I enjoy a zoo-like environment including my husband, son, and our four animals Stevie, Sully, Sharkbait, and Darwin. Outside of veterinary management, I own a plant business and am pursuing a degree in Horticulture. With my family I enjoy hiking, road trips, and the beach.

Hi, I’m Tanya. Ever since I was a little kid I knew that I wanted to work in animal care. I am proud to work here at Freddie’s where your little one’s care comes first!
Technicians
Hey everyone, my name is Ileana and this is Waldomir James, otherwise know as Waldo. He is a covid rescue, mastiff mix. We’ve both been in the field for quite some time now, myself being a veterinary assistant for about 6 years and him being an avid blood donor for the past 2 years. When not at work you can find us at the gym or the park playing with his favorite purple ball. With a passion for helping animals and educating clients on pet care, we are ready and excited to be a part of Freddie’s team.
BIO COMING SOON.
Hey everyone, my name is Miriam and this is Mila. I started working with animals when I got a job at Petco. I loved taking care all different types of animals. I decided I wanted to get more involved so I attended a vet assistant course. Now here I am 7 years later and loving it. At home I have a turtle and a dog who love to sunbathe together.

I’m Hunter, a seasoned veterinary technician from Albuquerque, New Mexico. I bring over 11 years of experience and passion to the field of veterinary medicine. When I’m not caring for animals at work, I enjoy beach days and mountain adventures with my dog groomer girlfriend and our poodle, Zuko. At home, I love relaxing with my two cats, Olive and Charlie, making the most of my downtime with my furry family.

I have extensive experience assisting veterinarians in exam rooms, including animal restraint, client communication, and ensuring all equipment and supplies are prepared prior to examinations or procedures. My surgical support background includes prepping patients, monitoring and running anesthesia, performing dental cleanings, and providing attentive post-operative recovery care.
My technical skills include venipuncture, IV catheter placement, taking and positioning patients for radiographs, reading fecal samples and ear swabs, bandaging, placing endotracheal tubes, administering medications, and maintaining accurate patient records. I am also experienced in facility-wide animal care—walking dogs, cleaning kennels, bathing animals, expressing anal glands, and performing light grooming.
In addition to clinical abilities, I bring strong administrative experience. I have served as a receptionist, managed multi-line phone systems, handled weekly inventory and supply ordering, prepared laboratory specimens for shipment, and filled prescriptions accurately and efficiently.
Throughout my career, I have remained passionate about creating a calm, caring environment for both animals and their owners. I pride myself on being a reliable, hardworking team member who brings strong communication, technical expertise, and a genuine love for animals to every role.

Veterinary Assistants
Hello everyone my name is Vanessa a little bit about me I have a cat named Zuko who enjoys cuddle time especially when he wants food & loves to make a ruckus at night to play, run around & knock things down but he’s my amazing emotional support animal! I attended Pima medical institute to be able to be in this amazing field and help your fur babies feel better!

I’m passionate about animal care and committed to growing in this field every day, both through hands-on work and continued education. Working in a fast-paced clinical setting has taught me the value of teamwork, compassion, and attention to detail, and I bring that with me to every patient I assist.
Outside of work, I enjoy spending quality time with my family, which is always my top priority. I also love surfing, fishing, and camping, especially when I can do it alongside my dogs. Long walks on the beach with them and Harley rides through the mountains or along the coast are some of my favorite ways to unwind and recharge, especially so I can keep giving my best in everything I do.
Receptionists

A lifelong animal lover, Tatiana began her career in cosmetology in 2010 before stepping into the world of pet care part-time. That experience eventually led her to a full-time role in veterinary administration, where her strong people skills and deep passion for animals found the perfect balance. She quickly fell in love with the field, and while she adores being around pets, it’s her empathy and dedication to supporting clients that truly make her shine. Tatiana is a proud cat mom to three beloved rescues, Mishka, Tifa, and Ragnar, and a devoted tank enthusiast. She shares her home with two betta fish, Bilbur and Bayou, and a Spanish ribbed newt named Tooter, who lives alongside a thriving colony of over 100 colorful shrimp. Outside of work, Tatiana loves spending quality time with her fiancé, family and friends, snowboarding in the winter, relaxing at the beach in the summer, and enjoying good food under the sun whenever she can.
I first started out of high school working mainly in retail. Later I found the Pima Medical Institute, and am currently going to school to become a veterinary technician.
When I’m not at work, I can be found playing video games, spending time with my family and friends, or even going out on adventures. I’m also a big foodie, and love to be able to bake and cook.
I’m happy and excited to be here to help!
