What inspired you to work in veterinary medicine?

I’ve been an animal lover for as long as I can remember. My career originally began in cosmetology in 2009, and in 2017 I started working part-time in pet care, which eventually led me into veterinary medicine. I discovered that being front of house allows me to blend my customer service background with my passion for animals. Building lasting relationships with clients and their pets, and being there for them through both the happy and difficult moments, has been incredibly fulfilling. I now work full-time in veterinary medicine and continue cosmetology part-time, and I truly feel I’ve found the best of both worlds.

How do you continue to grow in the field?

I have tremendous respect for the veterinary field and love that it’s constantly evolving. There’s always something new to learn, and I enjoy being part of an environment that challenges and inspires me. One of the main reasons I joined Freddie’s Place was the opportunity for continued growth, and I believe our practice is truly making a positive impact in the community and in the industry.

What is the most rewarding part of working at Freddie’s Place?

The people, both the team and our clients. I’m so proud to work alongside such compassionate, dedicated colleagues who give their all to every patient and situation, from emergencies to routine visits. Seeing the level of care and empathy that defines Freddie’s Place makes me proud and grateful to be part of this incredible team.
